New Orleans-based Trumpet Advertising has embarked on a campaign to help redefine what people think of as the South.

The campaign is part of a rebranding effort for Turner South, Atlanta-based Turner Broadcasting's regional television network. It invites Southerners to describe their way of life through a variety of methods, including cooking demonstrations, poetry, music and spoken word performances. Trumpet and Turner South are in the midst of a four-city tour featuring such celebrities as Morgan Freeman and Angela Bassett.
