Rooms to Go plans to build an 850,000-square-foot distribution center and outlet store in Pearl River. The St. Tammany Parish Development District unanimously gave preliminary approval March 25 for a $50-million Gulf Opportunity Zone bond to allow Rooms to Go to build the facility on a 60-acre site in the southwest corner of Exit 3 at Interstate 59 and Military Road.

Peter Link, district president, said the project would bring 350 jobs with an annual payroll of $15 million and an annual economic impact of more than $23 million.See the full content of this document
