The corporation that operates scratch-off lottery games in Louisiana announced this week that it would shut down three of the games because of problems with the way some of the tickets were printed.

The Louisiana Lottery Corp. halted sales of the Louisiana Boil, Winning Combination and Extra Free Spot Bingo games after lottery workers realized hidden numbers on the tickets could be seen through the scratch-off coating. The ticket printer, who was not identified, has been ordered by the Lottery Corp. to re-examine all tickets printed since Jan. 1.
