When a renovated Roosevelt Hotel opened late last month, Chef John Besh's latest restaurant endeavor did not. But despite unexpected delays, representatives say Domenica, a 140-seat Italian eatery to be housed inside the downtown New Orleans hotel, should open by the end of the summer.
"The bumps and hurdles known all-too-well to anyone ever involved in the renovation of a 75-year-plus-old building have extended the anticipated opening," Besh spokeswoman Simone Rathle said, noting that Besh and executive chef Alon Shaya have been planning Domenica for more than a year.See the full content of this document
