Six Flags removed some rides and attractions as recently as last week without telling the city beforehand, a violation of its lease with the city, City Attorney Penya Moses-Fields said today.
It's another chapter in the ongoing dispute between the theme park operator and the city, which says Six Flags in in violation of its lease. Six Flags, which is considering filing for bankruptcy protection, has not reopened the park since Hurricane Katrina hit in August 2005. The city says it needs more information from the company about plans to reopen.See the full content of this document
