As of 11:45 a.m., the U.S. Coast Guard had confirmed two small vessels have broken loose from their mooring but appeared to be resting against the Florida Street wharf. At this time it is a concern but not a serious situation, and the Coast Guard is working to solve the problem.
Orleans Levee Board reports that levees are in good shape and holding, and despite minor overtopping of the Industrial Canal floodwall, the Upper 9th Ward has only seen about 6 inches of flooding.See the full content of this document
