The advertising industry will help generate $76 billion for the Louisiana economy next year, according to a study by Waltham, Mass.- based research firm Global Insight.
The economic activity generated by advertising - which includes direct spending, supplier spending and inter-industry activity - accounts for a projected 19 percent of the state's $408 billion economic activity. The advertising industry will generate an estimated 290,060 jobs, or 14.3 percent of the state's work force of 2 million, the study found.See the full content of this document
