The week-long initiative of the Junior League of New Orleans came to a successful end today. With the tools put away and over 600 volunteers on their way back to their own homes, these ladies put in well over 12,000 hours of sweat and determination over the last week. With the support of local junior league members, sustainers, actives and provisional alike, the Junior Leagues' Rebuilding a Better New Orleans project will have mobilized over 1000 volunteers over the course of nine days.
