An apartment complex in Kenner remains at the center of a nearly 1-year-old lawsuit by buyers who claim they were defrauded by a New Orleans developer.

Jeliece Griffin of New Orleans and Ronald Milton of Mobile, Ala., are suing developer Joshua Bruno, who reportedly agreed to sell the roughly 38-unit complex Rivertown Apartments, 2424 Third St., for $1.4 million by March 2, 2005, according to court records.
