New service at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is helping the airport continue to rebound from the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
JetBlue Airways has added a nonstop flight to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York, taking it back to what it was pre-9/11, said Michelle Duffourc, airport spokeswoman. Now with two daily flights to that airport, it's the only airline serving JFK out of New Orleans, Duffourc said.
