The Jefferson Parish Council approved regulations for high-rise condominiums Wednesday that require wider buffer zones and federal approval to build near levees, officially ending a two-year study on how to regulate the residential developments.
The approved regulations draw a clear cut line for developers and should calm neighborhood clashes when a developer asks for a variance to build higher, said Ed Durabb, Jefferson Parish planning director, who presented the revised plan for approval.See the full content of this document
