Summary


Susan Sully, a Charleston, S.C., author, recently wrote a new book, New Orleans Style: Eclectic and Complex, about domestic architecture in New Orleans. Sully, who also wrote the best-selling books Charleston Style and Savannah Style, explores New Orleans neighborhoods, socioeconomic scales and housing styles from Creole cottages to eclectic mansions. The book includes photographs by Paula Illingworth and a forward by Patricia Gay, executive director of the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans. Sully enjoyed her research on New Orleans houses so much, she and her husband bought one of their own as a second home. New Orleans Style will be released later this year.
