Baptist Community Ministries said today it is giving more than $420,000 to Tulane University Health Science Center's Sickle Cell Day Hospital.
The hospital, which is expected to open in October, will address a lack of sickle cell treatment in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina, officials said.
