The Ruth U. Fertel Foundation, a nonprofit established by the founder of Ruth's Chris Steak House, today pledged $1.2 million to public, private and parochial education for this year. The money will be used for special programs designed to serve students from kindergarten through college and other high-impact educational initiatives.
