Federal Emergency Management Agency inspectors will be in St. Tammany Parish for the next two weeks, visiting homes in areas damaged by Hurricanes Gustav and Ike. The inspectors will be offering inspections to homes damaged to determine the extent of individual assistance available to homeowners in the area.
St. Tammany Parish officials are advising residents to be wary of any unofficial inspectors who request a fee for their services. Inspectors representing FEMA will have appropriate FEMA identification and will offer all inspections free of charge.See the full content of this document
