Ron Gonzales' desire to help the homeless is earning him enemies among some businesses and residents of Central City these days.
Gonzales, executive director of the New Orleans Mission, wants to expand the shelter at the foot of Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard, according to CityBusiness story by Staff Writer Richard A. Webster.
