Bayou Bend Petroleum Ltd. on Monday announced it has begun drilling on the second well in its Marsh Island project in state waters in the Gulf of Mexico.
The Bootspur Prospect, in which Bayou Bend owns a 35.5 percent interest, is located about 1.5 miles southeast of the company's producing Greylock field. The well is expected to reach target depth in roughly 70 days, the company reported. If successful, the well will be immediately completed and tied in to the company's El-7 production facility.See the full content of this document
